Hello Doggie lovers,
Today, some celebrate cinco de mayo. Not at dog park. We celebrated dogs and heard a true story of the lothario (who objected to this sobriquet, insisting that he is not a malignant influence in the lives of women). So, perhaps a new nom de park: Romeo of Wiggly (Romeo for short). Anyway, this Romeo, told his tales of life in Santorini, days "stuck" in Amsterdam, Holland, with a friend who got his passport stolen. This tale sounded like an old fashioned Big Lebowski fest including Nihilists, pot, thugs and all. All they needed was "Bunny" the other Lebowski's
sex o holic wife. Now that would be a story. But as Willie Shakespeare said, "All's well that ends well". And the whole kit and kaboodle ended up, not in Sweden, but in Munich. There are tell tales photos of this on Facebook... But, you will have to asks dp Romeo for his Facebook name and page if you want to view this. I heard that he, actually, jumped off a cliff in Greece to impress two girls. Duh...he got hurt. Yuck.
Other than Romeo telling his tall tales about his wanton days in the outer suburbs of youth, park was pretty quiet this afternoon. I saw a few new pups: Lucy the weiner is definitley a
keeper.
The "Artful Dodger": aka, Leila, a Papillion, and what looks like a mini golden mix. Leila is a
critter to be reckoned with. Sweet Leila is about one year old. I remember when she first appeared at dp. Everyone wanted to hold her. She has quite a personality and had all of the dogs today, worked up and chasing her at breakneck speeds around the park in circles. She looks like a little fox and runs like it too. Angus and Ollie were enrapt and chasing. But, they never caught the Artful Dodger.
I went to dp around 7PM, but did not recognize, either dogs or humans. Mid-day has its advantages. The sun falls on the purple wonderful swimming pool and the dogs love it. Romeo figured out how to keep the water hose inside the pool and keep the water running. Very clever. How guy like.
Froman has not been here recently. His human, John, named Froman after the sausage company name in Ferris Beuhler's Day Off. I think of sausage....hmmm.
Christina's love life is cause for humans to circle around her to know the latest installment. Single humans seem to have love lives that spark interest in others. Vicarious is second best is my thought.
So, that's all she wrote.
